Questions

Cybersecurity FAQ

What is a SIEM, and do we need one?

A SIEM (security information and event management) collects logs from your systems in one place and alerts on suspicious patterns, such as repeated failed sign-ins. If you handle customer money or patient data, or must show auditors what happens on your network, it is worth having.

Our antivirus is installed. Isn't that enough?

Antivirus protects individual computers. Firewalls, separated networks, monitoring, backups and trained staff stop and reveal the attacks that antivirus alone does not.

Can you work with our existing IT team?

Yes. We can review and advise, implement alongside your team, or provide monitoring and support as a managed service.

Not sure how secure you are?

Start with a review: a clear picture of your risks and what to fix first.
