Hospital systems

Nurse call systems that get the right nurse to the right bed, fast.

We install and configure nurse call, public address and call systems for hospitals in Ghana — and the network and power they depend on — so patients are heard and staff respond quickly.

What a good system does

More than a bell by the bed.

Call points where they matter

Bedside, bathroom and toilet call points, with pull cords where patients may fall, planned ward by ward.

Clear indication

Corridor lights and nurse-station displays show who is calling and from where, so staff go straight to the patient.

Priorities

Emergency and staff-assist calls stand out from routine requests.

PA & announcements

Public address and call systems for paging, announcements and emergencies across the hospital.

Reliable power & network

Backed by UPS and, for networked systems, a separated part of the hospital network.

Trained staff

Nurses and maintenance staff shown how to use, test and look after the system before handover.

Our experience

Fomena and Kumawu district hospitals

As a key partner to the subcontractor, we installed and configured nurse call, Wi-Fi, PA/call systems, servers and workstations at the Adansi North (Fomena) and Sekyere Kumawu district hospitals in the Ashanti Region.

Why one partner helps

Nurse call, network and Wi-Fi together.

  • Cabling, containment and power planned once, for every low-current system.
  • No gaps between the nurse call installer and the network installer at handover.
  • One team to call when something needs attention.
Questions

Nurse call FAQ

Can you work with our main contractor on a new hospital?

Yes. On the Fomena and Kumawu district hospitals we worked as a key partner to the subcontractor, alongside the teams delivering the building.

Can you add nurse call to an existing hospital?

Usually, yes. We survey the wards, propose call-point positions and a cabling route that minimises disruption, and can phase the work ward by ward.

Do you also provide Wi-Fi and the hospital management system?

Yes — Wi-Fi, servers, workstations, CCTV and our Hospital Management System, so the whole hospital's technology comes from one team.

From our projects

Nurse call at the bedside and the ward desk

A call starts at the bed and shows at the nurses’ station until someone attends, so no patient waits unseen.

Building or upgrading a hospital?

Tell us about the wards and timelines; we will survey and propose a complete low-current design.
